Who’ll be there

The following Organisations & Groups attended the 2015 event:

“The Knights Of Skirbeck” will be in force, setting up a small enclave, from where they will ply their trade of Damsel saving and Dragon slaying! View there program & past exploits @  www.knightsofskirbeck.co.uk

“Have a go Drmmers” www.letsgetdrumming.co.uk Neil suggests his team will have the participating public ready to roll by 12 noon? A second time with us, lets get drumming was an instant hit  last year.

The Event wouldn’t be the same without The Forestry Commission,    www.forestry.gov.uk/visit with the help of local Community Ranger Amy Chandler, her commitment to the St George’s Day Celebrations includes pulling the dragon in the parade, then with  ”Hands on Stuff”, making things with the Kids. Hopefully this continued support will continue?

Local Melvyn Godber, will be attending with his Mel’s Punch & Judy Shows, he’s looking forward to be entertaining the kids again with his traditional sideshow, contact him at: www.melspunchandjudy.co.uk

“Blunderbus” A local theatre group who have in the past been a great success have kindly volunteered to perform a play “Dotty the Dragon” their help is much appreciated see www.blunderbus.co.uk

Oak Tree Farm is home of the Trentside Saddlebacks, a small traditional family run business located in  Nottinghamshire in the heart of Robin Hood country, situated close to the pretty rural village of Normanton-on-Trent. They have provided the hog roast now for several years,  agreed to be with us again www.oaktreefarms.co.uk

 Kneesall C of E School will be supporting the day hoping to raise “a few bob” www.kneesalloutofschoolclub.org
